International Customers
Fairhaven Press is headquartered in the United States but we have authors, editors, and partner printing companies globally. We offer global shipping from our US headquarters, but we also have partner arrangements with retailers and book printers globally that might allow for cheaper and faster shipping options.
UK/ Europe
Approximately 20% of our sales are currently in the UK and we are working on finalizing arrangements with a UK Ltd who can take over order fulfillment and author relations services for both the UK and the EU. In the next couple of years, we are hoping that this will branch off to We are working on having a separate shopping cart for UK/ EU customers in Spring 2019. In the meanwhile, our printing partner in Milton Keynes does provide copies to UK and EU retailers (in person and online retailers). Check our Amazon page for a list of our retailers with links to their sites. As of right now, this printer is also providing printing and shipping services to all locations outside the Americas. We also appreciate our EU customers and hope to offer up some non-English language titles in the near future.
Australia
Much of the research our authors are working on for the String Music Archaeology project is focused on Australia. There is some fascinating research into alternative tonewoods going on there. We have also had success selling a number of our music titles in Australia. We do have a partner printing arrangement with an Australian company. They can only currently print a small number of our titles because of an ongoing issue they are having with Amazon. Hopefully they work it out soon. In the meanwhile, most titles will have to ship from the UK. All of our hardcover titles should be printed in Australia. For now, it is mostly the paperbacks that are being shipped from the UK.
Asia, Africa and Latin America
As an academic publishing company, we are always interested in promoting the voices of those we typically don't hear from in the Western world. We are hopeful to find authors and titles from Asia, Africa and Latin America in the near future.
